Her Wellness Therapy clinicians specialize in treating women struggling with complex trauma or complex post traumatic stress disorder (C-PTSD), PTSD, mood disorders, such as major depressive disorder (MDD), bi-polar depression and generalized anxiety disorder (GAD) and women's issues such as perinatal, mood and anxiety disorders (PMAD). These are painful but treatable mental health conditions that develop in many people who have survived trauma or an overwhelming event/s. Seeking therapy is a strength; essential if you're suffering from one or more mental health conditions and helpful if you're seeking general support and guidance.
We also treat kiddos to older adults, and offer relationship therapy, such as couples, polycules, and family therapy, sex therapy, and group therapy. We utilize a trauma-focused, feminist and multicultural approach. We are trained in holistic and evidenced-based modalities, such as internal family systems (IFS), eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR) and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) to help you process trauma, address negative core beliefs, and to treat and heal the whole YOU, long-term.
Her Wellness clinicians hold advanced degrees (or are in the process of obtaining them) and are certified or trained in a variety of modalities and practices beyond graduate school and all Her Wellness Clinicians have been to therapy, and many of us have struggled with the same issues we specialize in treating, so no judgement here...We get you, and we care.
We believe in affordable therapy, in paying clinicians a fair-wage, and have found that clients get more out of therapy when they pay a reasonable amount for services. Hence we offer services at affordable and reasonable rates. We offer a sliding scale, accept some insurances, clients claiming on out-of-network benefits (OON), hsa/fsa and CareCredit cards. We're located in Millcreek, Utah, and offer in-office, tele-health and hybrid sessions state-wide. Reach out, we can't wait to hear from you!

Our Mission
Our mission is to provide anti-oppressive, quality, and affordable mental health services to all who want it. We specialize in treating females struggling with complex trauma, mood disorders and women's issues. Because we are a teaching facility, we are able to keep our rates low.

We believe that each person is an expert in their own life, and capable of thriving with adequate support and resources. We believe that therapy is a collaborative effort, and must be flexible to meet each individuals needs. We heal in connection, compassion, and safety.

Our Approach
We offer a safe space for clients to address negative core beliefs, process trauma, and self-actualize. We utilize tf-feminist, multi-cultural, client-centered and evidenced-based modalities, and utilize an integrative and collaborative approach to treat issues at the roots.
